Eagles Fall To Hendrix College 8-2

Conway, Ark.-After jumping out to a 2-0 lead in the second inning, the Eagles wouldn't score again as Hendrix College took a 8-2 victory Tuesday night in Conway.

Ozarks (6-15) scored its runs when Keaton Ramsey ripped a single through the right side of the infield to push across Dean Igert and Jacob Smith. Hendrix (12-13) responded with three runs in the third to take a lead it wouldn't relinquish. The Warriors added two more in the fourth to hold a 5-2 advantage. The Eagles loaded the bases with two outs in the seventh, but couldn't generate any runs.
    
Zack Walker finished 3-for-4, and Ramsey drove in a team-best two runs.
    
Hayden Keller (0-1) started the game to take the loss. He pitched three innings and struck out two.

Ozarks will travel to Pineville, La., to face Louisiana College in a three-game series April 2-3.
