Texas Dallas Baseball Team Completes Sweep

Clarksville, Ark.-The Texas Dallas baseball team completed a three-game sweep against the Eagles with a 4-0 game one win and a 13-0 game two win Saturday in American Southwest Conference play.

In game one, Ozarks (6-21, 3-16 ASC) collected just six hits and left nine runners on base during the seven-inning contest. Texas Dallas (18-13, 14-7 ASC) led 1-0 after four innings, and then added a run in the fifth and two more in the sixth. Alex Smith finished 2-for-3 to lead Ozarks at the plate. John Singler (1-3) pitched a complete game, allowing three earned runs to receive the loss.
    
In game two, Ozarks was shut out again in a seven-inning contest. Ozarks recorded five hits, and put just two runners in scoring position the entire game. Meanwhile, the Texas Dallas' offense recorded 13 hits and posted big innings in the third, fifth and sixth to secure the game. The Comets totaled six runs in the sixth alone. Singler went 2-for-3 at the plate for the Eagles. Oscar Dominguez (1-5) received the loss. He went four and two-third innings.  

Ozarks will travel to Wilburton, Okla., to face Austin College April 14.
