Clarksville, Ark.- East Texas Baptist University overcame a seventh inning deficit to shock the Eagles 13-10 in game one of Saturday's double-header.

Ozarks (9-16) held a 10-7 lead heading into the bottom of the seventh, but the Tigers (18-10) responded in a big way to shock the Eagles. The Tigers generated a run with a sacrifice fly, and then recorded a two-run single to even the score 10-10. From there, the Tigers blasted a three-run homer to win the game in dramatic fashion. 

Patrick Mixon doubled in a run and Bryce Elder singled in a run in the second inning. Chase Edwards had an RBI single in the third and Mixon homered to score two more runs. At the end of the fourth, the score was tied 5-5, but the Tigers plated a run in the fifth to gain the lead. Ozarks would make a statement in the seventh scoring five runs and hold a 10-7 advantage. Mixon went 3-for-5 with five RBI.

East Texas Baptist won game two 16-4 behind a consistent offensive attack. The Eagles scored twice in the first inning, but the Tigers scored three times in the bottom half of the inning to take the lead for good. Andrew Beck and Zach Jones had RBI in the first. The Tigers took control of the game in the second scoring four runs to lead 7-2. The Tigers then scored in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings. Ozarks outhit East Texas Baptist 14-10. Jake Smith had three hits, while Josh Woolly recorded two RBI. Jack Waggoner (2-4) took the loss.

The Eagles will travel to Conway to face Hendrix College April 4.
