Justin Crider Named To All-Region Team

Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks junior outfielder Justin Crider was named to the D3baseball.com All-West Region Third Team, it was announced Tuesday (May 23).

Crider, a 5-foot-11, 175-pound native of Dallas, Texas, was named to the American Southwest Conference All-Conference First Team this season. Crider led the team in slugging percentage (.635), triples (4), doubles (17), runs (40), total bases (94), stolen bases (7) and walks (21). He finished second in hitting (.365), home runs (5) and hits (54), and third in on-base percentage (.458) and RBI (23). Crider hit for the cycle with a 4-for-5 performance against Grinnell College March 18. He finished with 14 multiple-hit games and six multiple-RBI games. He tripled and homered against Grinnell College and Austin College. He drove in four runs in the Austin College game.

He had 12 games with two or more runs, including four games with three runs. He went 4-for-4 against McMurry University, and against Hardin-Simmons had three doubles in game three of the series. At the end of the regular season, he led the ASC in doubles, was fifth in total bases and slugging percentage, seventh in runs and third in triples.

The All-Region team consists of three teams and was voted on by Sports Information Directors from the D3Baseball.com West region.
