Clarksville, Ark.-12 members from this year's University of the Ozarks baseball team are taking part in various collegiate summer leagues across the country.

The Eagles have had a strong representation of players the past several years playing collegiate summer baseball and 2017 is no different. This summer U of O players are representing five different leagues and six different teams.

Patrick Clifford - Westchase Express of the Houston Collegiate League (Texas)
Tre Crockett - Midwest Veterans of the Mid-Plains Collegiate League (Kansas)
Dakota Ebarb - Dallas Dirtbags of the Great Southwest Collegiate League (Texas)
Chase Edwards - Midwest Veterans of the Mid-Plains Collegiate League (Kansas)
Bryce Elder - Midwest Veterans of the Mid-Plains Collegiate League (Kansas)
Jordan Jones - Midwest Veterans of the Mid-Plains Collegiate League (Kansas)
Gyeongju Kim - Great Bend Bat Cats of the Jayhawk League (Kansas/Oklahoma)
Andrew Mashburn - Midwest Veterans of the Mid-Plains Collegiate League (Kansas)
Dylan McLemore - Midwest A's of the Mid-Plains Collegiate League (Kansas)
Dalton Spurgeon - Midwest A's of the Mid-Plains Collegiate League (Kansas)
Jack Waggoner - Great Bend Bat Cats of the Jayhawk League (Kansas/Oklahoma)

Both Edwards and Jones were selected for the league's All-Star Game to be played this weekend. Edwards will compete in the home run derby.

Assistant Coach Nathan Bacon is the head coach of the Berkley Bandits in the Mid-Atlantic Collegiate League (Virginia).

"Summer baseball is an opportunity for players to focus on having fun and playing free of any pressure. I'm glad our players are seizing the opportunities to play all around the country," said head coach Aaron Gentry.

Following the 2017 season, Clifford, Ebarb, Edwards and Elder each made the American Southwest Conference All-Conference Team.
