GAME ONE
Overview:
A Zach Gartner RBI single in the fourth inning proved to be the difference in the game as East Texas Baptist edged the Eagles 1-0 in game one Friday. Two outstanding pitching performances made for a fast game. The game lasted only one hour and 13 minutes. Starters Gyeongju Kim and Derrick Findley went the distance to record complete games. Kim allowed only three hits, while Findley gave up four to the Eagles. Kim struck out one and issued two walks. His run was earned. Findley fanned eight. The Tigers scratched across their run by stringing one hit and one walk. The Tigers recorded back-to-back bunts to set up the run for Gartner. The Eagles never had a base runner in scoring position. Justin Crider went 2-for-3 for Ozarks.

GAME TWO
Overview:
The Eagles salvaged the series with a big 3-2 game three win. Timely hitting and strong pitching enabled the Eagles to secure the win. The Eagles opened the game in dramatic fashion as leadoff hitter Justin Crider launched a solo home run to start the game. The Tigers evened the game 1-1 in the bottom of the first, but the Eagles responded with a pair of decisive runs in the fourth inning. The Eagles had three hits in the inning, with Breyden Varner leading off with a single through the right side of the infield. With one out, Sam Swartz posted another single and Patrick Mixon followed with another infield hit to score Varner. Leading 2-1, Rocky Liveoak reached on a fielder's choice to bring in Swartz. With a 3-1 lead to work with, starter Dalton Spurgeon cruised through the next five innings as he kept the Tigers to no runs and one hit. Spurgeon would receive the win after scattering three hits over six innings. He also had three strikeouts. Gyeongju Kim recorded the save as he tossed three hitless innings. Kim had four strikeouts during his appearance.
