Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks junior third baseman Luke Morrison was named the American Southwest Conference Baseball Player of the Week, it was announced by the conference office Monday.
     
Morrison, from Tucson, Arizona, hit .666 (8-for-12) with a triple, eight RBI, three runs scored and a stolen base as the Eagles went 2-1 against Sul Ross State. He was 3-for-4 with four RBI in a 13-3 victory over the Lobos.

Morrison and the Eagles will play an American Southwest Conference series against Howard Payne University March 5-6 at home.
