Baseball Series Cancelled Against Mary Hardin-Baylor

Baseball series cancelled against UMHB.

Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks baseball team will not play their road series against Mary Hardin-Baylor this weekend due to COVID-19-related concerns and contact tracing within the Eagles' program.

The games will not be rescheduled.

Statements from Head Coach Aaron Gentry and Athletic Director Jimmy Clark regarding the cancelation of the games due to COVID-19-related issues. 

Head Coach Aaron Gentry:
"We are obviously disappointed we cannot play the series. Our student-athletes have worked hard and looked forward to playing. As bad as we all want to play, it is the best decision not to. I know the team is looking forward to the next game."

Athletic Director Jimmy Clark
"While we share the disappointment of everyone involved, the safety as well as the physical and mental well-being of our student-athletes, coaches, staff and the opposing team is our top priority."

The Eagles will host Concordia University Texas March 26-27.
