Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks junior second baseman Ben Cross was named the American Southwest Conference Baseball co-Hitter of the Week, it was announced by the conference office Monday.

Cross, from Sherman, Texas, blasted three home runs in the Eagles' series against East Texas Baptist. He was 7-for-11 (.636) with a pair of doubles and four RBI for a 1.636 slugging percentage.
    
On the season, Cross is hitting .341 with eight doubles and 19 RBI. 

Cross shared the honor with Jacob Perry from UT Dallas. Cross and the Eagles will play an American Southwest Conference series against Louisiana College April 23-24 at home.
