Clarksville, Ark.- The University of the Ozarks baseball team has qualified for the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament for the second time under head coach Aaron Gentry.

The Eagles (15-15) will face Louisiana College (23-14) May 6 at 3:00 p.m. in Marshall, Texas. East Texas Baptist University will host the three-day red bracket.

Under Gentry, the Eagles are the No. 6 seed and advance to the playoffs for the fifth time in program history. The Eagles dropped two of three games in the regular season against Louisiana College.

Regular-season champion and No. 1 seed UT Dallas and No. 2 seed East Texas Baptist will host the opening round brackets of the 2021 American Southwest Conference Baseball Championship Tournament Series May 6-8. The winners of the two brackets – the Blue and Red brackets – will meet May 13-15 at the highest remaining seed in a best two-of-three game series determining the ASC champion and conference automatic qualifier to the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.
