The Warriors added two more runs in the fifth to take a commanding 11-3 lead after five. Hendrix tacked on three more runs in the top of the sixth, but the Eagles got two runs back on RBI singles from Alex Ray and Joshua Ropple. With Hendrix leading 17-6 heading into the eighth, the Eagles made a valiant comeback in the bottom half of the frame. Sam Silvestri cleared the bases with a double to make it 17-9. Ben Cross then hit a three-run homer to pull the Eagles within 17-12. In the bottom of the ninth, the Eagles got back-to-back hitters on base with no outs, but could only score once. Rennie Arjona, Ben Cross and Kagen Kennedy each had three hits in the game.
