GAME ONE
Overview:
Clarksville, Ark.-Blake Benson tossed a complete game and the Eagles' offense recorded 11 hits in an impressive 11-2 win over University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Benson cruised through six innings before running into trouble in the top of the seventh. Benson kept the Crusaders hitless in the second, third and sixth innings. He got plenty of run support as the Eagles plated three runs in the first on a Carlos Castillo three-run homer. As Benson worked quickly, the Eagles exploded for eight runs in the sixth on six hits. Alex Ray highlighted the inning with a two-run homer and a two-run double. Also in the inning, Dru Didway cranked out a three-run homer. In the seventh, Benson was able to close the door with a strike out. Ray finished 3-for-4 with four RBI. Castillo went 2-for-4 with three RBI. Benson allowed just four hits and struck out six. He did not issue a walk.

GAME TWO
Overview:
Dru Didway smashed a walk-off double to left field to push across Josh Ropple and give the Eagles a 6-5 win in game two. The Eagles held a 5-3 lead heading into the top of the ninth and looked to secure the game with two outs. However, the Crusaders hit back-to-back solo home runs to shock the Eagles and even the score. Earlier in the game, the Eagles fell behind 3-0 before Ben Cross blasted a three-run homer to tie the score in the third. The Eagles followed that with two runs in the fourth on a Carlos Castillo two-run homer. Rodny Valdes and Dylan Kuester then limited the amount of Crusader baserunners to set up the final frame. The Crusaders had other ideas, but Didway provided the heroics in the end. Cross paced the Eagles with three RBI. Valdes struck out five in six innings of work.

Notables:
