GAME ONE
Overview:
Austin, Texas-Concordia University Texas recorded a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth to secure a 5-4 win over the Eagles in game one. The Eagles outhit the tornados 9-5, but couldn't push across the runs it needed. The Eagles led 4-3 heading into the bottom of the ninth, but Concordia recorded back-to-back hits and then got a sacrifice fly to tie the game. Following a walk, Chris Varljen singled up the middle to win the game. Trailing 1-0, the Eagles generated three runs in the fourth frame on a Trey Vance RBI double and a Kagen Kennedy two-run single. With the score even at 3-3, Luke Morrison ripped an RBI triple in the top of the ninth to put the Eagles in front briefly. Rennie Arjona, Luke Morrison and Trey Vance each had two hits.

GAME TWO
Overview: 
Concordia University Texas got another clutch hit to score the game-winning run and finish with a narrow 3-2 victory in game two. The Tornados scored the game-winner in the sixth inning on a single. The Eagles pushed across a run in the first inning on a Trey Vance RBI groundout. In the second, the Eagles loaded the bases and Sam Silvestri drew a walk to give the Eagles a 2-0 lead. But Concordia got a double play and then a strikeout to end the threat. From there, the Eagles could only record three hits. Josh Ropple went 2-for-3, which included a triple and a double.

Notables:
Rennie Arjona had a seven-game hit streak before getting it snapped in game two today.
