Dru Didway Named ASC Player of the Week

Dru Didway was named the American Southwest Conference co-Hitter of the Week.

Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks outfielder Dru Didway was named the American Southwest Conference co-Hitter of the Week, it was announced Monday (March 28).

Didway, a native of Sallisaw, Okla., hit .700 (7-for-10) with two doubles, two home runs, four RBI and six runs scored as the Eagles went 2-2 on the week. He blasted a two-run homer in the bottom of the sixth to give Ozarks a 7-6 come-from-behind win against Hardin-Simmons on Friday. Didway also had three hits in the series finale. This is his second Hitter of the Week award of the season. Didway owns a team-best .609 slugging percentage and has five home runs to go along with a .319 batting average.

Didway shared the honor with Malek Bolin from Mary Hardin-Baylor.
     
The Eagles will travel to Conway to face Hendrix College tomorrow night.
