Overview:
Conway, Ark.-Alex Ray laced a double to left centerfield to score two runs and push the Eagles past Hendrix College 8-7 in 13 innings Tuesday night. Luke Morrison and Ben Cross scored on the clutch hit. Cross drew a walk to reach base and Morrison reached on an infield error. In the bottom of the 13th and with a runner on base and two outs, Sloan got the final batter to fly out to centerfield. Ray, Morrison and Kagen Kennedy had three-hit games. Morrison and Trey Vance batted seven times. Sloan received the win after pitching the final three innings.
