Opened the season with 5.1 scoreless innings of relief. Picked up saves in his first two appearances. Collected his first win after tossing two innings of relief against Westminster. Had two strikeouts in that game. Did not allow a walk until his fifth appearance.

Russellville HS: Hit .365 as a senior with 31 RBI and 2 home runs. Named to All-Conference and made the All-State Tournament Team as a senior and senior. Helped team to a state championship as a senior.
