    Winneconne, Wis.-Sophomore runner Nathan Rankin placed 136th at the NCAA III National Championship Saturday running a 25:47.8. Rankin was one of 280 runners. The top time was 24:24.5. Rankin was among the top-10 finishers from the South/Southeast Regional.

  • Eagles Place Two In Top-35 At NCAA III Regional, Rankin Awaits Possible National Bid

    Mount Berry, Ga.-The Eagles placed 19th overall at the NCAA III South/Southeast Regional Saturday in Georgia. Nathan Rankin and Michael Harris both finished in the top-35 and four other runners placed in the top-200. Rankin was the team's highest finisher running a 26:10.92 for 12th place. Rankin now awaits the possibility to qualify for nationals when the NCAA releases its at-large bids Sunday (November 11). Harris posted a time of 26:31.20 for 23rd place. For their top-35 finish, both Rankin and Harris were named All-Region. Juan Sanchez ran a 29:10.21 for 155th, Dakota Fritts ran a 30:06.56 for 182nd, Luis Garcia ran a 30:07.62 for 183rd, Jaeden Miller ran a 30:14.52 for 184th and Edwin Rivera ran a 31:50.67 for 217th.

  • Rankin, Harris Finish Second And Fourth At ASC Championships

    Abilene, Texas-The Eagles had the runner-up and the fourth-place finisher at the ASC Championships Saturday. Nathan Rankin was second overall with a time of 26:58.69 and Michael Harris was fourth overall with a time of 27:41.21. The Eagles were fourth overall as a team, just behind East Texas Baptist. Rankin and Harris were named to the All-Conference First Team. Juan Sanchez (30:13.88) was 34th, Luis Garcia (30:36.90) was 39th, Dakota Fritts (31:20.51) was 55th, Jonathon Wood (32:05.42) was 62nd, Jaeden Miller (32:24.50) was 66th, Edwin Rivera (32:55.05) was 77th, Rhett Williamson (33:41.58) was 83rd, Chandler Stewart (34:25.81) was 89th and Petron Brown (50:04.08) was 106th.
  • ASC Cross Country Championships Set For Saturday

    Clarksville, Ark.-The American Southwest Conference women's and men's cross country championships will be held this Saturday, October 27, in Abilene, Texas. The Eagles had a strong showing last season and now enter the championships under new head coach Heidi Pinkerton. In the 2017 women's race, Hannah Smith finished 11th overall running a 24:46.3. Smith earned All-Conference Second Team honors for her performance. The women's team finished seventh as a team. On the men's side, Nathan Rankin won the ASC title running a 26:41.6. Michael Harris placed second overall with a time of 26:47.6. The men's team placed fifth overall as a team

    Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks sophomore Nathan Rankin was named the American Southwest Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the second time this season.
  • Nathan Rankin Finishes As Runner-Up In Little Rock Invitational

    Little Rock, Ark.-Sophomore Nathan Rankin finished as runner-up at the Little Rock Invitational Saturday running a 25:28.5. Joshua Clethen from Allen Community College won the race with a time of 25:16.9. Michael Harris followed with a time of 26:29.8 to place 22nd overall. The Eagles finished eighth as a team. There were 122 runners in the event.
  • Harris, Rankin Fuel University of the Ozarks Invitational Title

    Clarksville, Ark.-Led by Michael Harris and Nathan Rankin, the University of the Ozarks had four runners place among the top-10 to fuel a team championship at the U of O Invitational Saturday. Harris won the individual title running a 27:33.3 in the 8K race. Rankin placed second overall running a 27:45.6. Jaedin Miller placed 8th overall after posting a time of 30:12.7 and Luis Garcia ran a 30:57.9 to finish 9th overall. The Eagles also won the Arkansas D-III Championships in August, with Harris winning that individual title as well.
  • Men's Cross Country Team Places 37th At Chile Pepper Festival

    Fayetteville, Ark.-Competing in one of the premier cross country events in America, the Eagles finished 37th as a team in the 8K Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival Saturday in Fayetteville. The Eagles finished just behind conference foe UT Dallas, which placed 36th overall. Nathan Rankin was the top finisher for the Eagles, placing 125th overall after running a 26:42.0. Michael Harris was next for the Eagles running a 27:00.0. He placed 144th overall. Jaeden Miller posted a top-300 finish running a 28:46.6, good enough for 288th overall. There were 441 runners in the event.

  • Men's Cross Country Team Tops NCAA I Oral Roberts, Finishes Fifth At UCA Challenge

    Conway, Ark.-The Eagles posted a fifth-place finish, including beating NCAA I Oral Roberts University, at the 5K UCA Cross Country Challenge Saturday in Conway. Competing as the only NCAA III team, the Eagles were behind winner University of Central Arkansas and Little Rock, John Brown University and Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Nathaneal Rankin paced the Eagles with a ninth-place finish after running a 16:53.7. Michael Harris (17:00.1) and Jaeden Miller (18:05.7) came in 12th and 34th, respectively.
  • Michael Harris Wins Second Straight Arkansas D-III Championship

    Michael Harris won the Arkansas D-III Championships for the second straight year. Harris won the 5k race with a time of 17:25.0. It is the second consecutive season the Eagles have won the title. The Eagles had the top four finishers. The men scored 16 points, while Hendrix posted 47 points. Nathan Rankin placed second overall (17:52.90), Jaeden Miller was third overall (18:27.10) and Juan Sanchez was fourth (18:35.50).

  • 2018 Men's Cross Country Preview

    Clarksville, Ark. -The Eagles are under the direction of new head coach Heidi Pinkerton. Pinkerton inherits a team full of sophomores, including a pair of runners who finished No. 1 and No. 2 at the conference championships. The team is made up of nine sophomores, two juniors and four freshmen. Sophomore Nathan Rankin won the 8K conference championship last season with a time of 26:41.6 and was named ASC Freshman of the Year. Freshman Michael Harris finished second overall with a time of 26:47.6 and was named ASC Newcomer of the Year. As a team, the Eagles finished fifth overall at the conference championships. The Eagles had three top-3 finishes during the 2017 season.
